Merry Christmas and an almost Happy New Year

Oh my Jebus Christ. 2016 is finally coming to an end! I honestly do not know where on earth this full year has gone! How about you guys? It's crazy how fast time goes. Anyway, Christmas has just passed and basically, how did y'all Christmas go? For me personally it went really well! I love it! Spending time with the family meant so much to me and it was just so nice to sit back, relax and enjoy movie time with the famalam!

Another reason to why Christmas was good this year was due to the fact my amazing mother bought me a new laptop/tablet thing! The reason for my excitement over this amazing gadget is that I can finally blog once again on a regular basis! I could have blogged a lot more but I was struggling to find the place as well as the time to do so! But now I can take this awesome device anywhere and everywhere I go which is EPIC! I have never been so happy with a piece of technology before!

Moving swiftly on...2017 is two days away and I cannot exaggerate how scary that is! 2016 has gone so quickly and a hell of a lot of stuff has happened during this year! IT'S CRAY CRAY! Let's just re-cap what's happened this year:

  • David Bowie unfortunately passed away!
  • The ye olde queen turned 90!
  • I turned 18!
  • Prince also passed away!
  • Pokemon Go was released this year...
  • A new Harry Potter book was released?!
  • and just to top everything off: Donald Trump became America's new president elect.
I don't even know what to say in regards of Donald Trump's new legacy. I still think I am in some crazy nightmare that is permanently stuck on repeat. But I guess that is how the universe wanted things to do so they ya' go. But I did turn 18 this year which means I have a right of passage to pretty much do 90% of things within the UK. I can legally smoke, buy and consume alcohol as well as get inked. But will I do anything of these things? Hah, nope. I am reasonably sensible. Apart from my high chocolate consumption.

Speaking of chocolate; my new years resolutions begin with NO CHOCOLATE or at least a cut down of sugar. I am consuming sugar on a regular, unhealthy basis and quite frankly; it ain't good for me. I am either going to gain a hell lot of weight or I am going to get type two diabetes therefore I seriously need to calm down on my sugar addiction. I am still trying to work out how to do so! :/

On another note, I shall write a blog post regarding my new years resolutions shortly but in the mean time I hope you, my fellow readers, have a lovely holiday and I hope you are all relaxing in the best way possible!

Adios Amigos! I am ever so sorry for any spelling/grammar errors. I am still getting use to this laptop device!

Also, Sammy's comedy of the day:

I found this on Tumblr and quite frankly I have never agreed with such scenario in my entire life!

How to be Happy

This is hopefully going to be a guide to being 'happy'. In the world there are many individuals who are naturally happy. They may be living a stress free life. Or they was born with incredible amounts of serotonin levels. Anyway, my point is that some people on the flip side; are not so happy. I am one of those individuals. Certain things will make me happy but being a happy person 24/7 is definitely a difficult task for me. If I am not at home binge watching YouTube videos or chilling with the boyf', then I am not happy. Happiness is a difficult thing to achieve but it's possible.

Step 1: RELAX. I honestly cannot exaggerate how important it is to relax. Just spending time with yourself is honestly the most crucial step to happiness. Just staying at home relaxing for a day can boost your happiness level by 100. The best way I have found to unwind is running an extremely hot bath. Make myself a cup of tea with a high amount of sugar. Put some relaxing tunes on and get into that hot bath with the cup of tea and ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Relaxation.

Step 2: Get your jobs done. If you have rubbish in your room that is lying around. Then dispose of it. If you have hair grips lying around, put them in jar or move them into a box or something. Basically, but everything in it's right place. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now and you don't understand how satisfying it is to get into bed and know everything is spick and span. Also, if your parents have set you chores, get them done. Just get them done. Just do it. Shia Labeouf.

Step 3: Go see your family relatives or friends or lover. Honestly, this makes me so so so happy. Seeing a close friend can make your day 10x better and so can seeing your lover. Family relatives also provide food. Food makes you happier too.

Step 4: Remove the sh*t out of your life. Literally and metaphorically. Remove any individuals that are not a good influence on you. Remove all unwanted junk. Make your life free off all stress and copious amounts of dirt. Honestly, this helps. I currently have a high amount of 'outstanding' work to hand in at college but each time I hand a piece of work in I feel so much better and it motivates me to carry on and get even more work done.

I think that is just a few steps on how to be happy. There are many more out there in the world but I honestly do not have the time to write them all down. Anyway, I hope y'all have a fantastic day and just remember, RELAX. R e L a X.
